We invite you to find out more about Tidewater School and Waldorf Education. We have designed a variety of ways for you to visit our school.

Tours

We are happy to give you a tour of the school if you cannot attend one of our formal information sessions. Children are welcome. Tour lasts approximately 30 minutes.

Early Childhood Information Sessions

Meet the early childhood teachers and hear about what many parents describe as the seacoast’s finest early childhood programs. Participants will tour the school and have an opportunity to ask questions.

Held every twice monthly from 1:00 to 2:15 pm on Wednesdays. Adults only, Preregistration required. Email or call to register.

Elementary Information Sessions

Meet with the Admission Officer and hear about the holistic Waldorf approach which integrates rigorous academics with the fine, performing and practical a rts. Participants will observe in a classroom, tour the school and have a chance to ask questions.

Held once a month on Fridays, from 8:30-10am. Adults only, Preregistration required. Email admissions@tidewaterschool.org or call the office 207-439-7911

Evening Open Houses

Join us on Saturday November 7 and February 6 from 10–11am, and experience the joy of Waldorf Education. Meet teachers and parents as you tour the school and grounds. You and your children can sample a main lesson in the grades, a movement education class and an early childhood morning. Email or call to RSVP.
