We invite you to find out more about Tidewater School and Waldorf Education. We have designed a variety of ways for you to visit our school.

Tours

We are happy to give private tours of the school for those interested in applying to the school. Children are welcome. Tours last approximately 30 minutes and include visits to in-session classrooms.

Open Houses and Visiting Days

Please join us for one of our Open Houses, which are held on Saturday mornings periodically throughout the year. These events offer you an opportunity to learn about Waldorf education. You and your children visit classrooms and participate in activities especially designed for the young child and the elementary school child. Experience the joy of Waldorf education in action and meet our teachers, who bring a deep knowledge of the growing child to their work, providing a nurturing, engaging and fulfilling learning experience for the children.

Please see our calendar for Open House dates. The School periodically offers an opportunity to visit the Early Childhood classrooms and meet the teachers. These visiting times are generally in the afternoon. Please see the calendar for Visiting Day opportunities.
